摄影师编号223本名林志鹏,现居北京。影像创作人,自由写作者。从事多年时尚创意类杂志编辑工作后成为自由摄影师。个人影像作品和文字关注新生代流行文化和生活状态。他的作品轻松、玩味,随性中蕴含深厚的想象空间与独特思维角度,开启私摄影的全新维度,具有很高关注度。他多次参加国内外展览并在多地举办个展。 

No.223's real name is Lin Zhipeng, he is a photographer and freelance writer based in Beijing.He has engaged in fashion magazine editorial work for many years, and now works as a freelance photographer. His individual images and text focus on the new generation of popular culture and life. His work is relaxed, pondering, which contained in the rich imagination and unique perspective of thinking, opening a new dimension to private photography, which has the very high degree of attention. He has participated in the domestic and international exhibitions for many times and has exhibited in many places.

此次摄影展作为编号223的摄影十周年个人展览,将分为两个展场展出。逵园艺术馆将展出其十年来的40多幅代表作品,全面展示他不同阶段对生活的记录,对世界的思考;浮图SPACE则以编号223的作品及生活物件为主导,试图营造一个私密空间,将生活空间和展览空间相融合,给观众带来另一种观展体验。编号223的敏锐与开创精神营造出作品画面中的猎奇性和多种生活乐趣,展览希望透过他影像作品中暧昧的光影、直面生活的纯粹以及对世界的无限探索,唤起观者对生活体验的共鸣,让心灵回归本质的思考。

 

This exhibition is No.223 photography's 10 anniversary exhibition, which will display his 10 years representative works, a comprehensive display of life he recorded at different stages and the thinking to the world.

 

展览开幕活动将同时举办私摄影艺术系列分享会,由策展人曾翰、编号223和特邀嘉宾一起分享、探讨摄影艺术及私摄影的相关话题,让大家对编号223的独特摄影风格及私摄影有更深的了解与体会。

十年前,小镇青年林志鹏拿起傻瓜相机对准自己和朋友的身体瞎拍乱照的时候,他也许没有想过那个后来叫做编号223的自己会因这个嗜好而改变的人生道路。

 

Ten years ago, young Lin Zhipeng took a digital camera to take the pictures of his own and his friends’ bodies, and he may not have thought about that later his life changed because of this habit.

 

2005年我策划的《自·私》摄影联展被“认为是中国私摄影浮出水面的指标性事件”(顾铮《中国私摄影论》),参展的新生代摄影者所进行的影像探索,几乎都是自发的,而不是为迎合某种游戏规则,他们的摄影在最初只与自己有关,就像他们中很多人在摄影中的独特署名,只是以摄影的方式描述自己的个体存在,验证自己的个体价值。编号223的作品是展览中最惹人注目和争议的“下半身私摄影”,他对于身体和性毫无顾忌近乎游戏般地直白呈现,挑逗着观者的视觉神经和肾上腺素。也正是这种释放天性挑战道德禁忌孩童恶作剧般的视觉游戏,让编号223在彼时的互联网上声名鹊起,引来众多模仿者,其后几年以裸露身体为主的私摄影竟成为网络文化的重要板块,并伴随手机摄影和移动互联网的发展进而愈演愈烈。

 

In 2005 I planned “Self •Private” photography exhibition which is considered as the index event of Chinese private photography’s rising to the surface (Gu Zheng “Chinese private photography theory”), in which the new generation of photographers’ images exploring are spontaneous, but not cater to some rules of the game, their photography only concerned with oneself initially, like a lot of people’s unique signature in photography, only exist by way of photography, verify the individual value. Because of “lower body private photography”, No.223’s works are the most striking and controversial one, he present the body and sex straightly, teasing viewers’ visual nerve and adrenaline. It is this nature release challenge moral taboos, like children’s  practical joke with visual game, which let No.223 rise to fame on the internet, attracted many imitators. After a few years, private photography based on naked body has become an important sector of network culture, and with the development of mobile phone photography, private photography intensified.

摄影从发明之日起,始终是人类观照自身的重要工具。正如罗兰· 巴特所言,摄影是一种“没有符码的讯息”,关于身体的摄影便是这种不需要符号转译的视觉讯息,是一种由视觉触发嗅觉、味觉、触觉等的直接的感官体验。而照相机的器形与拍照的行为过程,尤其是便携式相机,都具有极其强烈的性暗示,例如安东尼奥尼的《放大》中,男主角拍摄女模特的那一经典镜头,竟犹如一场酣畅淋漓的性爱大战。编号223与他镜头下的男孩女孩们,与《放大》中的摄影师和女模特的关系如出一辙,在拍摄过程中翻云覆雨水乳交融。那些喷薄欲出的青春肉身,尽是性与爱的隐喻,而日常物品的置入更是加强了隐喻的指向:光屁股上的玩具公鸡,罩住亲吻两头的塑料袋,裸体骑行的小摩托车,淋湿的红蓝裤裆,喷溅在少女脸上的牛奶……这也是编号223能从一众“下半身私摄影”中跳脱而出的高妙之处,他总能让影像游走于色情(pornographic)和情色(erotic)之间,而又让自己的态度和观点不露声色地嵌入其中。

 

From the invention day of photography, photography is an important tool for human beings’ reflection. As Roland Barthes said, photography is a “message without code”, photography on the body is the sign of visual information that need not to be translated, is a kind of vision experience triggered by taste, touch and smell. And the shape of camera and behavior of taking pictures,  especially a portable camera, has extremely strong sex hints, such as Antonioni’s “amplification”, the actor filming the classic female model, was like a fully and delightfully sex war. No.223 and the boys and girls under his lens’ relationship is the same as the relationship with Antonioni’s “amplification” of the photographer and the female model, in the filming process as changeable as clouds and rain get along swimmingly with each other. The gush youth body is full of love and sex’s metaphor, and daily goods placement is to strengthen the metaphorical point: his cock toys, the plastic bag, naked ride scooter, wet blue and red pants, splashing milk on the girls face...... This is why No.223’s “lower body private photography” can jump out of the sublime, he always makes image walk in pornography and the erotic, and let his attitudes and opinions show his own  feeling.

编号223从来不限定自己的身份和生存方式,他不仅仅是摄影师,同时也是时尚买手、设计师、专栏作家和旅行者,他并没有象某些以情色摄影为主业的摄影师艺术家一样,用蓄谋和设定的方式去创作,而是让自己的影像一直保持一种随性和业余的特质。摄影对他来说,最重要的目的不是为了得出一张称作作品的照片,而是以拍照的行为作生命的体验。近年来,他也不再只沉溺于身体的拍摄,而是将视野随自己四处游历的足迹延展开来:自由与爱的盛大派对,天人合一的海中遨游,荒漠中的狂放裸奔……甚至一匹堵路的白马,一头搁浅在柱子上的猪,其实何尝不是他自身的映射。

 

No.223 never define his identity and the way of life, he is not only the photographer, but also a fashion buyer, designer, column writer and traveler. He did not like some of the erotic photographer who focus only on erotic photograph, that their creation can be tracked with premeditation and designed way, but he, No.223 let his image maintained a casual and amateur trait. Photography to him, is not to draw a called photo, but to take action as life experience. In recent years, he no longer indulge himself in body shot, but extend his vision with the peripatetic footprint: such as the grand party of freedom and love, harmony swimming between man and nature in the ocean, wild streaking in desert...... Even a white horse jammed road, a beached pigs on the pillars, actually all these are his own mapping.

 

编号223的摄影从来都不是简单的为了裸露而裸露,为了情色而情色,他曾声称自己“在拍摄上,不以记录或真相的表达为方式,我只是在用镜头交换生活。有时候是自拍自己的生活,有时候是追捉身边的私人私物私事,与每一个可以用相机映下生活的人没有任何区别。”“关系,暧昧,粘稠”是他作品中的关键词,他的摄影“试图在禁忌和保守的对立里,找到可以彼此和谐的频率,去发现一种表现‘关系’的语境。”在性与性别的对抗和交错中,对爱恨的体验探寻。正如他自己最喜欢的颜色——“青红皂白”,生活在如同青和红,皂和白这样色域分明的境地,看似对立,却又互补。

 

No.223’s photography can never easily called naked erotic, just that in order to do so. He claimed that in the photography, he does not just express or records the truth is, but only exchange life for lens. Sometimes he photograph his own life, sometimes he catch around private things, with no difference between each can use camera to reflect the people living. “Relationships, ambiguous, thick” is the key word in his works, his photography is trying to find harmonious in taboo and conservative, to find a relationship in context, to find it in sexual and gender confrontation and staggered, and in the love and hate experience and exploring. Just like the color he likes the most:green, red, black and white”, life is like the color, green and red, black and white color, seemingly contradictory, but complementary.

影像创作人,自由写作者。从事多年时尚创意类杂志编辑工作后成为自由摄影师,作品关注新生代流行文化和生活状态。

 

2004年 开始使用胶片口袋相机,拍摄形色、生活和成长的任意事情。

2005年 开始独立出版个人摄影集系列《My Private Broadway》,如今已至第三集。

2007年 创办独立时尚创意杂志《TOO》,开始拍摄视频短片,已完成《山什》、《壹场》和《苍

        耳》等作品。

2012年 创办独立ZineVERSATILE》,并于台湾和中国大陆分别出版作品集《No.223》及《漂

        游放荡》。摄影作品入选《3030 :NEW PHOTOGRAPHY IN CHINA》、《大象》、《Back to

        Black & White》、《TELL MUM EVERYTHING IS OK》等摄影书册。

 

No.223’s real name is Lin Zhipeng, he is a photographer and freelance writer based in Beijing.

He also produced video works such as SANSAR, SCENE, Xanthium, etc. In 2007 he published the independent fashion magazine project TOO and in 2005, 2006 and 2011 published three volumes of photography entitled My Private Broadway. In 2012 he published a personal zine entitled VERSATILE, photography collection entitled No.223 and travel works collection entitled Satellite of Love. His photography works were included in 3030: NEW PHOTOGRAPHY IN CHINA, Elephant, Back to Black & White, TELL MUM EVERYTHING IS OK, etc.
